June 20, 2006 – The Monmouth County chapter of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event was held in Middletown, NJ on June 16 -17. This was their 12th annual event and as a Starter Sponsor, Symbolic Systems, Inc. was again in the forefront of the activities. The event raised over $90,000 so far with Symbolic Systems contributing $5,000 to the worthy cause. The Cancer Society presented Symbolic Systems, Inc. with a special award as the top small-team fund raiser for 2006. 

John Knapp receives the award on behalf of Symbolic Systems, Inc. John has been the team leader for Symbolic since the inception of the Relay for Life in Monmouth County.
