Emerson Keslar, PEO C3T’s Chief Information and Knowledge Management Officer, won SearchDomino.com’s Achiever Award for Knowledge Management.
This award recognizes developers and end-user companies who have taken knowledge management for Lotus Domino to the next level.
It honors users who have made it possible to obtain and manage key information throughout the enterprise, from staff directories, skill sets, knowledge banks and the means to do so using Lotus’ Knowledge Management tools.
Planning and implementation of the KM concept require excellent management and development skills of dedicated individuals and teams.
Jens Bruntt, one of the judges in this category said of the PEO C3T CIO Team, "This organization has managed to leverage built-in strengths of the Notes and Domino platforms, particularly in the areas of fine-grained security and knowledge sharing, and it has succeeded in community-building across disparate locations by integrating tools like SameTime (instant messenger application) and QuickPlace (a collaboration tool)."
PEO C3T provides a wide and integrated array of systems products and capabilities to the Warfighter.
From tactical satellite communications and intelligence gathering systems to field devices, its mission is to develop, secure and support leading edge, strategic command and control communications systems through an interactive spiral development process.
The awards will be presented at the Lotusphere Convention in January, 2003.
